EIT RIS Hub Montenegro
In January 2024, the European Institute for Innovation and Technology set up its RIS Hub in Montenegro, allowing Montenegro to become a member of the largest innovation community in Europe, with Branka Žižić serving as the Community Officer. The purpose of the EIT RIS Hub is to bring Montenegrin participants and stakeholders closer to the members of the innovation community so they can enjoy the many benefits of the community such as expertise in business innovation, education and training, networking, funding and support with placing innovative ideas onto the market and commercializing existing research resources.
EIT Community consists of 9 thematic institutes and implements diverse programmes such as: education and training, collaboration on innovation development and research projects. EIT Community facilitates links between education, industry and research, promoting a strong industry orientation. Official launch of the EIT Community RIS Hub Montenegro will take place at CUE Hotel Conference Room on 24 May from 9:00 to 15:30. Admission is free. EIT Community is the largest innovation ecosystem in Europe which recently set up its office in Montenegro. The event will showcase diverse opportunities for entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers and businesses helping innovation in Montenengro grow. Register here to reserve a spot.
